The Spotted Drum is one of the most beautiful fish you will come across. While they have very different color patterns as juveniles and adults, they are equally gorgeous. They can get up to 9", and prefer a meaty diet. They tend to be more active at night, and prefer to hang out in caves or under ledges during the day. They are fairly rare, and we only get 1 or 2 a year. They are more abundant in deeper water, but they are sensitive to decompression, so we only collect them in under 30 feet.
