Very closely related to the Checkered puffer, the Southern puffer is more of a brown colored puffer, whereas the Checkered is more green. The Southern is more common, and easier to find in smaller sizes. We usually ship them between 2-4". Midsized, smoothskinned puffer, growing to a maximum of 10". Feed meaty foods.
