Rock Flower Anemones (Epicystis crucifer) are an amazing addition to a reef or mixed reef tank. They come in a myriad of colors and color combinations. Unfortunately, the crazy naming similar to zoa's has occured with these, so for our purposes we simply sell them as Green, Red and Ultra's. These are very hardy, and can actually spawn in your aquarium if you have both sexes available (I don't know how to sex them though). The Green and Red's tend to come from shallower water, while the Ultra's come from slightly deeper waters. Feed a meaty based diet or phyto plankton, and they will prosper.
