The Rainbow parrotfish is one of the largest parrots that we offer. They can grow to nearly 48", so a monster aquarium is needed to accomodate them as adults. As with all parrots, we are only allowed to collect them up to 12", so they will be much smaller than they can grow to when you receive them. They are a gorgeous combination of red and green color as adults, and get a huge humphead similar to some freshwater cichlids, and huge buck teeth. Juveniles are mostly green. They eat stony corals in the wild, so FOWLR tanks only.
