Pearly jawfish are a beautiful pearlescent fish, starting with a yelllow head, and the body changes over to a blueish pearl white. This is the same species as the Yellowhead Jawfish, but a slightly different color variation, and are imported out of Haiti, year around. Typically, they aren't quite as vibrant. Since they live in burrows, they need a deep sand bed to feel comfortable in your aquarium. They can be finicky eaters to start, but will eventually eat most any offerings. They are prone to jump when startled, so make sure your tank is covered. Awesome personalities, these little guys make great additions to a reef tank or non aggressive FOWLR tank.
