The Goldentail is our favorite moray. It comes in two colorations, the standard dark color and the much rarer yellow version. This is the exact same eel as the Banana eel, we just don't get that color variation here. Goldentails are a small eel, growing to a max of 2 feet, although we have never seen one over 15-16". Very peaceful, and they don't try to bite (which as a collector, we are big fans of, lol). They will eat smaller fish, so choose tankmates with care, and cover aquarium tightly.
