Scarlet Back or Dusky Damsel (Stegastes adustus)
    • The Scarlet Back or Dusky Damsel as a juvenile is a beautiful purplish color with a rusty to orange top. Also has irridescent speckles similar to a Jewel Damsel on it's face. As with most Caribbean damsels, the adult color darkens considerably, nearly jet black in this case. Similar care to all other damsels.
