The Cubbyu Drum is very similar to the High Hat, and commonly juveniles are mislabled as High Hats. They grow to the same size and have all the same requirements of other Drums. Meaty diet, more active at night, and like to hang out under ledges in the daytime. Cubbyu's can be distinguished from High Hats by looking closely at the stripes on the sides. They have very thin black stripes, whereas the High Hat has broad black stripes. Also, they get darker as they age, but are morph into more of a gray coloration, whereas the High Hat morphs into a blacker color.
