The Blue parrotfish is one of the largest parrots that we offer. They can grow to nearly 48", so a monster aquarium is needed to accomodate them as adults. As with all parrots, we are only allowed to collect them up to 12", so they will be much smaller than they can grow to when you receive them. They are a gorgeous powder blue color as adults, and get a huge humphead similar to some freshwater cichlids, and huge buck teeth. Juveniles are similarly colored, but also will have a yellow spot on top of the head. Hands down, these are our favorite parrots. They eat stony corals in the wild, so FOWLR tanks only.
