Black (or Gray) Angels are by far the most frequent angels found on our reef. While they get quite large (up to 20"), they are by far the most social of all of the local angelfish. In fact, this is one of the very few full size angels of any species, that can be kept in groups in an aquarium. Standard diet for the Black angels is any algae based food, supplemented with protein, and sponge material. While not the most colorful angels as adults, they more than make up for it with their personality. A truly special fish. Juveniles set up cleaning stations, and act as cleaners to other fish.
