Mantis shrimp are large predatory shrimp (although closer related to lobsters and crabs) with very powerful claws. They have incredible vision, are lighting quick and either "smashers" or "spearers". There are a few different species, but we sell them all as Mantis Shrimp. They do best in their own aquarium where they can be watched and studied in their environment. Meat eaters, that prefer live food, but can be trained to eat squid or shrimp pieces.
