Box or "shame faced" crabs, are large predatory carnivores. Best in aggressive or FOWLR tanks, they will eat any large meaty chunks they are fed. Big enough to be safe from most trigger fish as well. The two types we sell are Calico and Fountain/Flame, and it refers to their color patterns. Calicos have a purple pattern, and Fountains/Flames have a brown streaked pattern. They do pinch very hard, so always handle from behind, or use your thumb and forefinger to hold their claws in place.
