Black Snowflake Clownfish were created by crossing Black Ice Snowflake with Black Ocellaris Clownfish over multiple generations. The result is a new variety that has unique patterning in each fish. The Black Snowflake Clownfish comes in a wide array of patterns with varying degrees of white.
It should be noted that Black Snowflake Clownfish spend the first year of their life gradually darkening to their final black coloration, and some individuals ultimately retain traces of orange on their faces.
